Floor Bed With Safety Rail

Materials:

The Floor Bed With Safety Rail is made from 22mm, New Zealand made Pine plywood. The Pine used to make the plywood is sourced from sustainably forests around the South Island.

The Plywood is finished with 100%, VOC-free Pure Tung Oil which completely seals and waterproofs the timber.

Wood stains are a great way to make your furniture really stand out. The range of natural wood stains from the Natural Paint Co, not only look good there VOC-free and free of all harmful chemicals. They provide a highly durable and washable finish to timber, will not cause light woods to go golden like a varnish, they also provide a completely water-proof finish and is approved for use on toys & children’s furniture according to European regulations.

Dimensions:

This version of the very popular floor bed has a safety rail & is available as a Single, Single XL & King Single. The safety rail is removable & the bed can be flipped over to lift the mattress further off the ground.

                                                  

 

The bed is designed to hold a mattress the same dimensions as the Teddy rage of children’s mattresses (single & king single only). When the bed is in floor bed set up with safety rail the top of the mattress would be 267mm off the floor & there would be 193mm of safety rail above the mattress. When the safety rail is removed & the bed flipped over the top of the mattress will be 410mm of the ground.

Important Information:

All measurements for the Floor Bed With Safety Rail frame are based on the Teddy mattress rage (not included with the frame). The bed is made when ordered so small changes can be made if needed. Eta is approximately 2 to 3 weeks from time of order.

To keep freight costs down the bed will be shipped as a flat pack. You will require a square headed screwdriver to assemble, if another tool is needed it will be supplied.

The freight company the Valley Craftsman uses is Aramex. Pricing is calculated depending on the size of your order. Simply add the item you wish to purchase and your location to the shopping cart & a price will be calculated for you. Rural deliveries will have to be collected from your nearest Aramex depo.
